Event Description
This route depends on Hwy 108 being closed after Kennedy Meadows, not after Clark Fork. And we will either hike hwy 108 or hike a trail depending on the conditions.
From the gate, it's 4 miles and 1680 ft. elevation gain to Chipmunk Flat, for 8 miles total, should we choose to go that far.
If the road opens to vehicle traffic we'll choose a trail off of Hwy 108.
We will carpool and caravan at 10am.
Bring the dogs.
Afterward we'll either snack at the cars or find a restaurant down the road.
