Thanks for the welcome, Becky.  Jackie was telling me about this great group and I've just gotten divorced and this is right up my alley.  I hope to make it on a hike soon!

I, too, look forward to sharing a trail with you and other like-minded folks.  At the moment, I'm buried in deadlines and creating an outline for book #4 to present to my publisher at Bored Feet.  But, I will be on board as soon as possible.

That's awesome she remembered me and said something! So I am wondering how does this all work? She mentioned people getting together and just going on these hikes but I know some places cost money, then there's the whole getting there bit, and gear. I guess how does your system work?

Becky, Sharon and I are happy to have found this site!  Thank you for accepting my request to join.  We like to walk around town but prefer hiking in nature whenever possible and meet new like-minded friends.  We're aiming for the Wapama hike.

Becky & Steve - Would it be o.k. if some members of my hiking group San Joaquin Hikers join your Table Mt. hike tomorrow, Sat. March 12th?  Our scheduled hike will be too muddy.
