Moderate 5 to 7-mile hike via use trail to Blue Canyon Lake and cross-country to Deadman Lake.Elevation: Trail head: 8900 ft., highest is 10,600 ft for a gain of 1700 ft.Option: Summit Leavitt Peak from this direction.Trailhead & Parking: Pullout on the side of the road just before the 9000ft elevation sign on Hwy 108, Sonora Pass Road.Fee: None.Bring the dogs on this one.Dinner: Trail gate at the trail head.See More

Mono Way Road Hike or Trail Hike at Kennedy Meadows

This route depends on Hwy 108 being closed after Kennedy Meadows, not after Clark Fork.
