Mono Way Road Hike or Trail Hike at Kennedy Meadows

November 5, 2016 from 10am to 4pm
This route depends on Hwy 108 being closed after Kennedy Meadows, not after Clark Fork. And we will either hike or snowshoe depending on the conditions.From the gate, it's 4 miles and 1680 ft. elevation gain to Chipmunk Flat, for 8 miles total, should we choose to go that far.If the road opens to vehicle traffic, Steve has suggested an alternate hike off Clark Fork Road.We will carpool and caravan with the intention of arriving at 10am.Bring the dogs.   Afterward we'll either snack at the cars…See More
