Elevation: 2040 at the trail head. Lowest is 1100 ft. highest is 2300 ft. for a total change of 1200 ft.

Mileage: 7.81.using the Volvon, Blue Oak, Highland Ridge and Clyma Trails.

Comments: Rosie & Jeanette reported a steep climb at end of hike to reach the trail head. I stayed at the trail head, near the bathrooms, with my lounge chair, walker and binoculars. Got a sunburned lip from hours in the sun with a chilly wind. Watched birds, ground squirrels and hikers all day.
