Event Description
Twenty Lakes Basin at Saddlebag Lake, Hoover Wilderness, Inyo National Forest.
Hwy 120, Tioga Road east of Tioga Pass
We'll park at the south end of Saddlebag Lake at the resort/campground.
Take the water taxi to the north end of Saddlebag Lake where the trail head is.
Elevation at trail head: 10,100 ft.
Mileage: 5-mile loop
Difficulty: Easy/Moderate. Elevation gain and loss is continuous but no more than 450 ft.
Dogs are welcome.
Fees: $20/car for YNP entrance or $0 with annual pass. $11 per human RT water taxi fee. $5 RT canine fee.
