Weather: Partly sunny with a high of 72 in the valley and 42 at Glacier Point. Sunny with no wind at Glacier Point.
Trail Head: Four-Mile TH on the Valley floor, just beyond Sentinal Beach/Yellow Pine picnic areas on Southside Drive.
Fee: $30 park entrance fee or pass.
Description: Strenuous 9.2-Mile up and back to Glacier Point. Some added the Panorama and the John Muir Trails for a 13.6-mile one way effort to Curry Village.
Elevation: 4000' at the Valley floor to 7200' at Glacier Point for 3200' elevation change.
Flora: Rock Cress, Mountain Pride, Sierra Stonecrop.
Fauna: Sooty Grouse, Ground Squirrels.
No dogs on this one.
Dinner: Snack Pot Luck at the Swinging Bridge picnic area.

Comments: It had snowed earlier in the week and the air temp was perfect. Both the up and back and through hikes took longer than anticipated. Steve shuttled hikers from Curry Village. There was still enough daylight to enjoy a meal at the picnic area.
