That's awesome she remembered me and said something! So I am wondering how does this all work? She mentioned people getting together and just going on these hikes but I know some places cost money, then there's the whole getting there bit, and gear. I guess how does your system work?

I am going to try and make it to the Jan 11th Mt Diablo hike and bring my husband Keith. it has been years since I have been to Mt Diablo!

I, too, look forward to sharing a trail with you and other like-minded folks.  At the moment, I'm buried in deadlines and creating an outline for book #4 to present to my publisher at Bored Feet.  But, I will be on board as soon as possible.
