Event Description
Photo: 2013 Group crossing the road to begin the hike.

Trail Head and Parking: 1/4 mile north of Forest Road junction on Big Oak Flat Rd.
Fee: $30/car, Annual Pass or Geezer Pass.
Elevation: About 4850 ft at the trail head with a 1300 ft. elevation gain.
Description: Moderate 7.1-mile up and back to the bridge at Cascade Creek above the falls.
Features: Passing through the 1990 A-Rock wildfire burn and two creek crossings.
Dinner: Cocina Michoacana in Groveland or Trail Gate.
Last hiked: April 13, 2013.
