Event Description

Down and back 12.3-mile trail following Yosemite Creek from Yosemite Creek Campground to the top of Yosemite Falls. Strenuous because of the mileage and the 530 ft elevation gain on the return.

* Because it will be a warm day, most of us can hike all the way down the Falls trail to the valley floor which reduces the total mileage to 9.8. Drivers would need to turn around at the four or five mile point to return to collect the cars from the trail head.

Trail Head: Yosemite Creek Campground via Old Tioga Road.

Fee: $30 or Park Pass.

No dogs on this one.

Dinner: The Mountain Room Lounge at Yosemite Lodge.
