Event Description

Description: Closed highway 108 road hike starting at the closed gate just beyond Kennedy Meadows Road.
Hike length: We’ll hike as far as we want to go. But from the parking area to Chipmunk Flat it’s about 4.5 miles. Nine miles all told.
Elevation: 6250 to around 8000 ft.
Parking: we’ll park in the large dirt lot east of Baker Campground.
Bring the dogs.
Dinner: Mia’s for Fish & Chips Friday.
