Event Description
Photo: Mount Arnot from the eastern slope.
Trail Head: Highland Lakes, seven miles south of Hwy 4 on Highland Lakes Road.
Mileage: About a 9.5-mile loop.
Elevation: 8600 ft. at trail head. 10,036 at Arnot summit. 9640 ft. at the Saddle.
Difficulty: Strenuous because of the loose volcanic rock, gravel and scree on the cross-country section.
Fees: None.
Dinner at the Blue Frog in Arnold.
