Photo: Rocky at the top of North Peak.
Trail Head: Hwy 1 across from Montara State Beach.
Weather: Sunny and breezy, 53 degrees.
Mileage: Proposed was 8.0 miles but we took a short-cut which made it about 7.2 miles.
Elevation: 84 ft at trail head, 1873 ft at the top of North Peak for a 1789 ft. change.
Difficulty: Moderate to strenuous 8-mile partial loop.
No parking fees.
Leashed dogs are welcome.
Dinner: the Flying Fish Cafe in Half Moon Bay.

Comments: Windy and the surf was high. 22 ft waves! Surprised to walk on granite on the upper part of the trail. The fish, salmon, shrimp and scallop tacos were awesome.
