Trail Head: The corner of Sansome & Pine.

Fee: $11.10 RT BART ticket from Dublin to the Embarcadero. Or $10 to $32 all day parking.

Weather: Sunny and about 65 degrees. Breezy in the afternoon.

Elevation: 85 ft. at Embarcadero Station. High point was 410 ft.

Mileage: About 8.2 miles.

Route: Basically Montgomery to Francisco to Hyde St. to Taylor to Grace Cathedral: Yerba Buena Cove, Telegraph Hill, Chinatown,  North Beach, Nob Hill & Russian Hill.

Transportation: Carpool, BART, & foot.

Lunch: North Beach Pizzeria.

Comments: Absolutely perfect day! The weather could not have been better. The staircases and hidden gardens were lovely. The pizzas and salads at North Beach Pizzeria were excellent. The minestrone was not very good.

Looking forward to this trip! Need a wee bit more info: Dress? How much moolah to bring? stuff like that....thank you!
