Trip Notes - Upper Yosemite Falls

Trail Head: Camp 4 and Yosemite Lodge.

Weather: Sunny and 74 degrees at Upper Yosemite Falls.

Mileage: 7.0 to 9.4 miles.

Elevation Gain: 2600 to 2969 feet.

Difficulty: Strenuous because of the 126 switchbacks and elevation gain.

Fee:  $20 per car or annual pass.

Dinner:  Celebrated Jackie's birthday with a wonderful potluck at the Lower Falls picnic area.

Comments: Perfect weather for a strenuous hike.  Falls were running at their fullest for the time of year.  Food and deserts for Jackie's birthday were extraordinary.  Everyone had a great time.
