Description: Moderate 7.8-mile loop using the Volvon, Blue Oak, Highland Ridge and Clyma Trails.
Elevation: 2040 at the trail head. Lowest is 1100 ft. highest is 2300 ft. for a total change of 1200 ft.
Flora: Woodland Star, Butter and Eggs, Buttercup, Woodland Shooting Star, Red Maid, Broadleaf Filaree, Purple, Sanicle, Royal Larkspur, Bluedick.
Fauna: Ground Squirrels.
Dinner: Casa Orozco in Livermore.
