Weather: Foggy & Sunny with a high in the low sixties.

Trail Head: Palomarin at the end of Mesa Rd.

Fee: none

Description: This is an easy 7.5 mile out and back to Alamere Falls and the beach except for the scramble down to the beach and back up.

Features: A waterfall that lands on the beach.
Flora: Lupine, Paintbrush, Cow Parsnip, Tidy Tips, Common Vetch, Elegant Clarkia, Sticky Monkeyflower, Iris.

Dinner: Taqueria San Jose in San Rafael.

Notes: Some of us spent an amazing three days on the eastern shore of Tomales Bay.Five hikers cycled from Bear Valley trail head and met the main hiking group on the beach.
