Weather: Sunny with a high in the mid-sixties.
Trail Head: Old Tunnel Road staging area in Orinda.
Fees: None.
Description: Easy 7-mile self-guided geological tour of round top volcanoes and labyrinths in the Oakland Hills.
Trail head elevation: 988 ft. Highest point was No Name hill at 1633 ft for a change of 645 ft.
Flora: California Poppy, Lupine & Wild Strawberry.
Fauna: Dogs, dogs, dogs and Western Fence Lizards.
Dinner: El Charro in Lafayette (17 diners)

Comments: Met Stacy at the main entrance. Hikers were all over the place during the hike but nobody got lost. Lots of dogs in the park. The restaurant had good Margaritas and bland food. They split the checks which confounded the waiter.

Sure wish that I could attend this hike. I have never been on the hiking trails in the Oakland hills. But I am taking the train from Sac to Santa Clara to attend Stitches West
