Event Description
Trail head is the boat landing on the north shore of Saddlebag Lake. Trail head elevation is 10,066 ft. The hike is a 5.0 mile loop at almost level terrain making this a relatively easy hike.
Take Hwy 120 through Yosemite via Tioga Road to Saddlebag Lake Road. We'll take the water taxi ($11 round trip for humans, $5 for dogs) from Saddlebag Lake Resort at the south end of the lake to the boat landing at the north end. This area is out of the Yosemite NP boundary so dogs are permitted.

Sounds great, but I want to go up Friday evening and stay somewhere so can we arrange something. Am not too familiar with the area.
