Event Description
Photo: Upper Yosemite Falls.

Weather: 51 degrees at Valley floor, 41 degrees at 7000 ft.
Trail Head: Camp 4 parking lot.
Fee: $20 per car or annual pass.
Mileage: 7.0 to 9.4 miles.
Elevation Gain: 2600 to to the top of Yosemite Falls, 2969 feet to Yosemite Point.
Difficulty: Strenuous because of the 126 switchbacks and elevation gain.
No dogs on this one.
Dinner: Pot luck at Camp 4.

Dinner: Pot luck at the trail head.
Notes: Cold wind at the Fall lookout. There was some residual snow in the shade and ice on the trail at the top.

This a killer hike for building quads with a gorgeous view! Sorry, I can't make it. I will be camping and hiking at Del Valle!
