Event Description
Photo: Barb on Cloud's Rest.
Trail head: Sunrise Trail at Tenaya Lake.
Weather: Mostly sunny and high sixties.
Fee: $20 YNP entrance fee.
Elevation: 8150 ft. at trail head, 9926 ft. at the summit.
Mileage: 14.5 mile out and back.
Difficulty: Strenuous with a 1775 ft. elevation gain and loss, repeated.
Fauna: Chickoree and Golden-mantled Ground Squirrels.
Dinner: Pot luck at the trail head.
Participants: (8) Connie & Tom Metz, Barb Hayes, Debbie Schickert, Dan Bruce, Stanimir Henson, Steven Fotheringham and Becky Teberg.
Notes: Stunning views. We welcomed Dan & Stanimir to the group.
