Event Description
Moderate CW 6 to 7-mile loop from Tioga Pass to Middle Gaylor Lake, cross-country over to Lower and Upper Granite Lakes. Make our way over to the Great Sierra Mine. Pick up the trail there, pass Upper Gaylor Lake to the vista point at 'Coyote Ridge'. Make our way down to Tioga Lake. Walk up Tioga Road to the trail head to retrieve cars.
Trail Head: Tioga Pass Park Entrance Station Parking Lot or the Leavitt Meadows lot.
Trail Head Elevation: 9973 ft., Highest elevation: 10,848 ft., Lowest Elevation: 9722 ft.
Elevation change: about 1100 ft.
Fee: $30 park entrance fee or pass.
No dogs on the Yosemite trails.
Dinner: Trailgate at the trail head or at Tioga Lake.
