Event Description
Trail head: May Lake at 8800 ft.
Description: Moderately strenuous very early morning hike for the dayhikers to meet the backpacking group at May Lake at 4am.
Six miles up and back with a 2000 ft elevation change. 1.1 miles to May Lake. 1.9 miles to Hoffmann's summit at 10,800 ft. Summiting requires some bouldering.
Fee: $30 park entrance fee or pass.
Lunch: To be determined.
Moon Phase: Waxing Crescent.
No dogs on this one.
