Comments: Extremely pleasant and beautiful hike. Walls of granite toward the beginning. Amazing volcanic formations (hoo-doos) beyond that. The wildflowers were in full display. Very few mosquitoes. Nick, Jackie & Eric walked at least one mile beyond the 6-mile turn-around point. We met Josh Garrett, the Vegan Hiker doing the PCT.
