Event Description
Photo: Rainbow at Wapama Falls from the walkway.
Trail head: O'Shaunessy Dam parking lot.
Weather: Mid-sixties and partly cloudy.
Elevation: 3728 ft. at the trail head.
Mileage: 5.5 miles to Wapama and back. 13 miles to Rancheria Falls and back.
Difficulty: Easy to moderately strenuous because of the total length of the hike.
Fee: $20/car YNP entrance fee.
Flora: Charming Centaury, Live Forever, Blue Penstemon.
Fauna: Alligator lizards, Whiptails, Gofer snakes, Sierra King snakes. Rachel spotted a bear.
Dinner: pot luck at the trail head.
Participants: (10) Jeanette Farley, Dan & Dora Robinson, Barbara Moran, Gerry Fait, Rachel Di Carlo, Lisa Teberg, Nick Teberg, Eric Teberg, Becky Teberg.
Comments: Some of us only hiked about six miles, only two completed the entire 13 miles. Most hikers put in between 10 and 12 miles.

Wow Becky, you are up and rolling with all these events on your site. I heard you made it up Verna and Nevada fall. That is amazing. Sorry that I can't make it, graduation party.
