Flora: Mountain Sorrel, Rosy Sedum, Little Elephant's Head, Swamp Onion, Dwarf Monkeyflower.
Dinner at Whoa Nellie Deli in Lee Vining.

Notes: Perfect weather and beautiful terrain. Lucky to spot and videotape a Pika at Middle Gaylor Lake. Interesting structures at the Great Sierra Mine. Some mosquitoes. It was a treat to ride in Jackie's '74 Mercedes 450SL Red Convertible. Also, the fish tacos at Whoa Nellie Deli were divine despite what Nick says.

I'm gonna bring my fishin pole! We're close to the golden trout zone. I'm hooked, but I'll follow Stevens lead and release! I love the high country!
This looks like to much fun... Where can I get a possible ride/carpool from?
